Resurrection is a ministry of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The ELCA consists of 5.3 million
members in 11,000 congregations around the country. It is the third largest
Protestant denomination in the United States.
The ELCA is the most "mainline" of all
Lutheran churches and does not dictate what you are to believe.
The ELCA encourages people to study
the Bible and discuss issues with other Christians in order for them to form
their own opinions. Thus we have a great diversity of opinion on a variety of
religious and social issues.
